Smile Design for the Smile of Your Dreams

It is important to feel confident in your smile, because being confident in your smile means being confident in yourself. Despite this, many people walk around every day, resigned to the fact that their smile is what it is and there is really nothing they can do to change it. But what if that was not the case? What if improving the aesthetic appearance and/or functionality of your smile was easier than you thought?

At Dental Serenity™, we offer a comprehensive range of dental procedures, from common treatments like fillings or root canal therapy, emergency care, restorative procedures like dental implants to replace a missing tooth or teeth, and cosmetic treatments like veneers, teeth whitening, and smile design. To help you achieve the smile you have always dreamed of, our clinic offers a range of cosmetic procedures that can correct a variety of cosmetic issues, including a gummy smile, recessed gums, discolored or stained teeth, crooked teeth, missing teeth, gaps in teeth, teeth that are disproportionately stained, overcrowding, and more. Whatever your primary goal is, we are committed to helping you achieve optimal cosmetic results while still preserving or improving overall functionality.

Common Cosmetic Procedures for Smile Design

There are a number of procedures that may be performed to help you achieve the smile of your dreams, including the following:

  • Teeth Whitening: To help correct stained and yellowed teeth, we will place a special tray in your mouth that will apply the whitening product to your teeth. Unlike many over-the-counter teeth whitening products which can take weeks to provide results and contain chemicals that may cause discomfort or tooth sensitivity, our treatment provides noticeable results in just one hour and is free of all those chemicals.
  • Dental Veneers: Dental veneers are an effective way to correct teeth that are stained or damaged, make teeth even in length, close a gap between teeth, and/or make teeth look larger.
  • Dental Crowns: Dental crowns are a popular option for patients whose teeth are broken or severely damaged, as they improve both appearance and functionality. Like dental veneers, crowns can also correct teeth that are stained or damaged, make teeth even in length, close gaps, and make teeth look larger. Unlike veneers, dental crowns surround the entire tooth, which provides greater overall stability.
  • Dental Implants: In addition to an increased risk of developing other oral health issues and diminished ability to enjoy foods, having a missing tooth or teeth can have a very negative impact on one’s sense of self-esteem. Dental implants are a safe and effective method for replacing missing teeth and will provide you with a durable long-term solution that looks and feels just like your natural teeth.

Procedural Steps of Smile Design

The smile design process begins with an initial consultation to evaluate your overall oral health and determine what treatment or treatment options are right for you and whether there are any underlying issues that need to be addressed as part of the smile design process. To help determine an appropriate treatment plan, dental X-rays or other diagnostic exams may be taken.

Once this information is collected, the smile design process will develop as a conversation, where you share your personal smile design goals and address any questions or concerns you might have. This conversation will also involve a discussion of what kind of outcomes you can reasonably expect and what treatment options are best suited for your unique needs. Once you are satisfied with the smile design plan, you will schedule a follow-up appointment(s) to begin the smile design process.

Although every patient will have a slightly different smile design plan, the following are commonly performed as part of the smile design process.

What is the Cost of Smile Design?

The cost of smile design will depend on a variety of factors, including what type and how many procedures you are having performed and whether you are covered by dental insurance. If you do have dental insurance, your final bill will be determined by your dental insurance coverage, co-pay requirements, and annual deductibles, although cosmetic procedures may not be covered under your plan, so be sure to contact our office and/or your provider to determine whether the procedure you would like to have is covered.

Our clinic is in network with most PPOs and accepts all insurance plans. We also offer interest free financing through Lending Club, and CareCredit, or you may consider joining our Dental Serenity Membership Club to save money on treatment and simplify your payments for preventative care.
