Invisalign Clear Aligners for Straight Teeth

It is important to feel confident in your smile, because being confident in your smile means being confident in yourself. Despite this, many people walk around every day, resigned to the fact that their smile is what it is and there is really nothing they can do to change it. But what if that was not the case? What if improving the aesthetic appearance and/or functionality of your smile was easier than you thought?

Unlike traditional orthodontic treatment methods, which can take years to complete and involve the use of bracket braces and wires that can be uncomfortable and unsightly, Invisalign straightens teeth through the use of thin, removable trays that gradually increase in size until your teeth have achieved proper alignment. In addition to resulting in straighter teeth, Invisalign treatment also has the unique advantage of being nearly invisible and often takes less time to deliver results compared to traditional methods.

At Dental Serenity™, we offer a comprehensive range of dental procedures, from common treatments like fillings or root canal therapy, restorative procedures like dental implants to replace a missing tooth or teeth, emergency care, and cosmetic treatments like veneers or Invisalign. If you are interested in learning more about the quality services we offer, or to schedule an appointment for Invisalign, contact our office today.

At Dental Serenity™, we offer a comprehensive range of dental procedures that will correct a range of oral health issues, including a gummy smile, recessed gums, discolored or stained teeth, crooked teeth, missing teeth, gaps in teeth, teeth that are disproportionately stained, overcrowding, and more.

The Invisalign Process

The Invisalign process begins with an initial consultation to evaluate your overall oral health and determine if Invisalign treatment is right for you. While many patients will be good candidates for Invisalign treatment, this may not be a viable option for individuals with more severe misalignments or other oral health issues. To help determine your viability, dental X-rays or other diagnostic exams will be taken, after which an appropriate treatment plan can be determined. The number of trays that will be necessary will depend on the nature and severity of your case. Less severe cases may be corrected in as quickly as six months, while more severe cases may take up to a year or slightly longer.

Cost of Invisalign

The cost of Invisalign will depend on a variety of factors, including the severity of your case, how many aligners are required, length of treatment time and number of visits required, and whether you are covered by dental insurance. If you do have dental insurance, your final bill will be determined by your dental insurance coverage, co-pay requirements, and annual deductibles.

Our clinic is in network with most PPOs and accepts all insurance plans. We also offer interest free financing through Lending Club, and CareCredit, or you may consider joining our Dental Serenity Membership Club to save money on treatment and simplify your payments for preventative care. Is Special Care Required for Invisalign?

The most important thing you can do to ensure the success of your Invisalign treatment is to wear the trays the recommended 20-22 hours a day. If you do take your trays out before meals or before brushing your teeth, brush the trays before putting them back in. Beyond that, the best thing you can do to continue enjoying a bright, white, healthy smile and avoid needing similar treatments in the future is to follow these best practices :

  • Practice good daily oral hygiene habits: Enjoying a bright, white, healthy smile and good oral health requires a personal commitment on your part to consistently brush your teeth twice daily and flossing regularly. If you struggle with flossing on a regular basis, you may want to consider floss picks or interdental brushes.
  • Eat healthy: To prevent staining, limit or avoid staining foods or beverages, like coffee, tea, red wine, tomato-based sauces, curry, and avoid unhealthy foods and beverages that are high in starch and sugar. It is also important to swish your mouth with water after eating a meal or drinking a sugary beverage to remove food remnants that can cause decay if not removed. Using a straw while drinking sugary beverages also reduces the amount of sugar that is exposed to your teeth.
  • Dental cleanings/checkups: To prevent teeth staining, cavities, gum disease, and other issues, it is recommended that you schedule an appointment for a dental cleaning and checkup at least every six months. In addition to performing a professional cleaning, these checkups also provide an opportunity to identify and begin treating issues before they become worse.
