Dr. Coyle is originally from North Carolina. She did her undergraduate degree at University of North Carolina at Wilmington, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021.  Dr. Coyle has a strong history of community involvement, including working at the UNC free dental clinic. She also planned, funded and participated in a trip to Kathmandu, Nepal in 2019 to provide restorative and surgical dental services to the community.
